Whenever the body and mind is stressed, hormones like adrenalin and cortisol are released. As the hormones are released, a series of physiological changes occur in the body, namely, rising blood pressure and faster heart beat. Cardio exercises like aerobics and swimming is equally helpful that can help you to lead a stress free life. Alternatively, you could also opt for holistic approach that includes Reiki and crystal healing and so on. Regardless of whatever approach you take, there is no substitute for physical exercise.

Mingle with positive people around

It is oftentimes said that if you have pessimistic people around, you tend to get demoralized and feel the stress even more. However, one of the few tips for healthy life is that interacting with likeminded people that include your friends, peers, and family will not only uplift your spirits, but also make you positive and optimistic. Instead of sulking and brooding over something, you can share your thoughts and feelings with someone you consider close to you. You can take your parents into confidence or your spouse or your best friend. But it is always good to give vent to your feelings. This prevents negative thoughts and worries from building up, which does not lead to stress.

Eating healthy food

To stay fit and fine, it is important to avoid all junk food, processed food, canned food stuff, pre-cooked food, and most importantly, stuff like monosodium glutamate, which is used in Chinese food. This particular ingredient is said to cause a lot of health issues. So, eat a balanced diet that includes fruits, vegetables, dairy products, cereals, nuts, and essential vitamins and minerals containing food items. Once in a while you can indulge in junk food.

Another important way to stay fit and one of the most important among the few tips for healthy life is to stay away from gadgets that are usually used for long hours. Also, get regular health checkup carried out once in a while not only of yourself but also of your near and dear ones.
