A pillow not only provides support to your head but it has a huge impact on the type of sleep you enjoy. It can affect the sleep condition intensely and a wrong pillow will make you uncomfortable and cause body aches.

Signs you have the wrong pillow on your bed

  • If you spend the night readjusting your position, you have the wrong pillow. This could be due to the hardness of the pillow or extra softness of the pillow which does not provide the right support to your head. The filling in the pillow will decide on the type of hardness it has. A hard pillow can also lead to a stiff neck.
  • If you have a neck pain, the first thing you need to do is change the pillows. It happens due to the fact that your pillow loses its efficiency after a few years of constant usage.   • If your pillow feels too large or too small for you, it is time to add a new pillow on your bed. The size of the pillow will play a prominent role in ensuring that you have a good night’s sleep. If the pillow is too small, it will make you uncomfortable and if the pillow is too large, you will have to change your sleeping position to use it.

When you find the right pillow that meets your sleeping position and size, you need to stick to it for a while. It could take some time for you to get used to a new pillow however, you will notice a change in your sleep with the right pillow. At the end of the long day, when you rest your head on the pillow, you only want to feel comfortable and relaxed. If your present pillow does not make you feel that, you need to replace it with a new one. A good night’s sleep is very important for a healthy mind and body and your pillow will decide whether you enjoy a good sleep or simply toss and turn in the bed.
